KAMPALA — At least 21 people died on Sunday when a bus collided with a trailer in northwestern Uganda, police told AFP.
"There are 21 confirmed dead. A bus carrying 35 passengers collided with a trailer. The trailer is now on fire," police spokesman Vincent Ssekate said.
He said the accident happened in Nwoya, north of Kampala
Around 2,300 people die in road accidents in Uganda each year.
