The Government has justified the arrest of Dr Kizza Besigye yesterday
saying he defied the Nakasongola court directive against avoiding
unlawful processions for at-least seven months.
While addressing the
media on yesterday's brutal arrest of Dr Besigye by the Police, Internal
Affairs minister Kirunda Kivejinja said despite repeated advice from
the police, the FDC President beckoned crowds to follow him and
defiantly blocked traffic flow for hours disrupting the peace and
security of the city.
