A secret problem I applaud Dr. Rachna Pande in her article Health & medical urinary incontinence in women that appeared in your 20th issue. There are close to two million silent sufferers of incontinence in Uganda. These women need support, Hope again Fistula support organization is a new organization that is aimed at having this embarrassing and public health problem end. More support is need to have this achieved. Those who can support the cause please send it to HAFSO P.O Box 24404,Kampala Uganda. Joan Kabayambi - Hope again Fistula
How Pentecostal Brainwashing = Religious Indoctrination? Your article on the above subject left me confused. Okay, so lately I’ve been trying to find a new church to go to, because I think I need to start getting into religion again. So tomorrow night, I am going with my friend to a new church. He is a Pentecostal, and we’re going to a Pentecostal church. I was reading online that they speak in tongues (which scares me) and they are a sect of Protestantism, but I was wondering if this is a good church to go to? Also, do Pentecostals tend to be a brainwashing (for a choice of a better word) religion? Because if it is, I want nothing to do with it. I left the last church I went to months ago because I realized they were practically a cult and I didn’t want to be the type of “Christian” they were. What I’m looking for is a decent religion with really good Christians. Oh, and I want serious answers, not “all religions are brainwashing” or “religion sucks” because that will not help me at all. Thank you! :) Ruth, Ghana
Rom 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. No one on here can tell you if “this” church is a good one to go to. You will have to go and find out for yourself. Shola - Nigeria First of all, a woman likes a guy who is cocky, and who will take and give as good as he gets. BUT, she also likes when he can turn around and be a perfect gentleman, can dry her tears, and yes, even be a nice guy for a few minutes when life is not going her way. Second, alpha males are good, but let me emphasize what was mentioned: DO NOT act like a jerk, going off on other people for not getting your way all the time. And sometimes, men do need to ask the woman where she wants to eat. Women like to feel that they have some influence in the relationship sometimes, so let her have her way sometimes. And being yourself does have a lot to add. I know most of the guys that I have liked weren’t trying to be alpha males and they certainly weren’t trying to impress me, so be careful and don’t overdo it. Betty Magezi - Denmark

I think its ok for Ruth to want to "go back to religion" I find that positive in itself. To judge Ruth for not having a relationship with Jesus is harsh. There are many people who claim to have a personal relationship with Jesus that do atrocious things only to turn around and remind us they are human after all. Go ahead Ruth - back to religion. But keep an open mind - stay long enough to find where you will be most comfortable - and where you will take your kids to worship if and when you get them. Let the relationship with Jesus grow as you get to know each other - as it were!
